Last updated: September 4, 2026
Brian J. Manning, doing business as Boost X Local ("Boost X Local," "we," "us," or "our"), respects your privacy.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information through BoostXLocal.com and in connection with the marketing, communication, automation, website, customer-experience, and related services we provide.
1. Scope of This Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to information we collect from:
Visitors to BoostXLocal.com
People who contact us, request information, schedule a meeting, or complete an assessment
Prospective and current Boost X Local clients
Authorized users of systems we configure or manage
Customers, prospects, and contacts whose information is processed through systems we operate on behalf of a client
Some websites and services linked from BoostXLocal.com—including the Local Business Survival Guide, Local Business Survival Assessment, scheduling platforms, payment pages, and third-party applications—may have additional privacy policies.
2. Our Role When Processing Client Customer Data
Boost X Local may process information about a client's customers, leads, prospects, employees, or other contacts while providing services to that client.
In those situations:
The client generally determines why and how the information is used.
The client is responsible for providing legally required privacy notices and obtaining necessary permissions or consent.
Boost X Local processes the information to provide the services requested by the client.
The client's own privacy policy may also apply.
If you received a call, email, text message, appointment reminder, review request, or other communication from one of our clients, contact that business directly with questions about its use of your information. We will reasonably assist our client with valid privacy requests when appropriate.
3. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly — We may collect your name, email address, telephone number, business name, business address, website address, job title or role, industry and service information, appointment and scheduling information, assessment responses, information about your customer journey, business systems, and marketing activities, messages, requests, feedback, billing and transaction information, and account information needed to provide requested services.
Payment card information may be collected directly by a third-party payment processor. Boost X Local may receive limited transaction information, such as payment status and billing history, without receiving your complete payment card number.
Information collected automatically — When you visit our website or interact with our communications, we and our providers may automatically collect IP address, browser and device information, approximate geographic location, referring and exit pages, pages viewed, links clicked, date and time of activity, cookie and similar technology information, email delivery, open, and click information, and website form and chat interactions.
Information processed while providing services — Depending on the services a client selects, we may process customer and prospect names and contact details, form submissions and chat conversations, call information, recordings, or transcripts, emails and text messages, appointment and scheduling information, estimates, opportunities, and pipeline activity, customer service and purchase history, review requests and feedback, communication preferences and opt-out requests, website, advertising, and campaign activity, and other information a client uploads or connects to the system.
Clients should not provide sensitive personal information unless it is necessary, authorized, and specifically covered by a written agreement with Boost X Local.
4. How We Use Information
We may use information to operate and improve BoostXLocal.com; respond to questions and requests; provide assessments, reports, consultations, and demonstrations; determine whether Boost X Local may be a good fit for a business; prepare proposals and provide requested services; build, configure, test, maintain, and support client systems; send authorized emails, text messages, reminders, and other communications; route calls, inquiries, and appointments; help clients manage leads and customer relationships; provide customer support; process payments and maintain business records; measure website, campaign, and system performance; detect fraud, spam, misuse, and security threats; enforce our agreements; comply with legal obligations; and protect our rights, clients, users, and the public.
We may use aggregated or de-identified information for reporting, service improvement, and business analysis when that information cannot reasonably identify an individual.
5. Automated and AI-Assisted Services
Some Boost X Local services may use automation or artificial-intelligence-assisted technology to respond to common questions, route inquiries, schedule appointments, summarize conversations, draft or personalize messages, analyze calls or communications, identify follow-up tasks, and support voice or chat interactions.
Automated systems can make mistakes and should not be used for emergencies or relied upon as professional, medical, legal, or financial advice.
Information processed through these features may be transmitted to technology providers that help deliver the requested service. We configure these tools according to the selected service and applicable provider agreements.
Clients are responsible for reviewing and approving customer-facing workflows, scripts, messages, and disclosures before launch.
6. Calls, Text Messages, and Recordings
Depending on the services selected, calls or messages may be handled, routed, transcribed, summarized, or recorded using automated technology.
Call-recording, artificial-voice, telemarketing, and text-message laws vary by jurisdiction. Clients are responsible for obtaining legally required consent, providing required disclosures, maintaining accurate consent records, honoring opt-out and do-not-call requests, and using the services only for lawful purposes.
Boost X Local may help configure compliance-related language or settings, but we do not provide legal advice or guarantee that a client's communication practices comply with every applicable law.
7. How We Disclose Information
Service providers — We use providers that support services such as customer relationship management, website hosting, email and text-message delivery, telephone and call-routing services, scheduling, payment processing, artificial intelligence and automation, analytics, file storage, customer support, and security and fraud prevention. These providers may include HighLevel and providers integrated with the HighLevel platform.
Our clients — When we operate a system for a client, information submitted through that system may be disclosed to that client and its authorized users.
Legal and safety purposes — We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, regulation, subpoena, court order, or legal process; investigate fraud, abuse, security threats, or unlawful activity; enforce our agreements; and protect the rights, safety, and property of Boost X Local, our clients, or others.
Business transactions — Information may be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction.
With your direction — We may disclose information when you direct us or provide consent.
8. Sale and Sharing of Personal Information
Boost X Local does not sell personal information for money.
We do not knowingly use personal information collected through BoostXLocal.com for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Some third-party platforms may independently collect information according to their own policies. Where applicable law treats a particular disclosure as a "sale" or "sharing," we will provide any legally required notices and choices.
9. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
BoostXLocal.com and its providers may use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to operate the website, remember preferences, measure traffic and engagement, understand which content is useful, improve website performance, and prevent misuse and maintain security.
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking certain cookies may affect website functionality.
Because there is no universal standard for responding to browser-based "Do Not Track" signals, the website may not respond to every such signal. We will honor qualifying legally recognized opt-out preference signals where required.
10. Email and Text-Message Choices
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link included in the message.
You may opt out of text messages by replying STOP or following the instructions provided in the message. You may receive a final confirmation that your request was processed.
Opting out of promotional communications does not prevent necessary administrative or service-related communications when legally permitted.
Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency may vary.
11. Data Retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain client and business records, complete transactions, honor opt-out requests, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal, accounting, tax, and security obligations.
Client customer data may be retained for the duration of the client relationship and for a limited period afterward, subject to the applicable service agreement, technical limitations, backup processes, and legal obligations.
Clients should request any available data export before their service ends.
12. Data Security
We and our providers use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information.
However, no website, database, communication system, or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Clients are also responsible for protecting their accounts, passwords, connected services, devices, and authorized-user access.
13. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live and the laws that apply, you may have the right to request access to personal information, request correction of inaccurate information, request deletion of certain information, request information about how personal information is used or disclosed, obtain a portable copy of certain information, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, opt out of certain uses or disclosures, and appeal a decision concerning a privacy request.
To submit a request, contact us using the information below.
We may need to verify your identity and authority before completing a request. When we process information solely for a client, we may refer your request to that client.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.
14. Children's Privacy
BoostXLocal.com and our services are intended for businesses and adults. They are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.
Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information so we can review and delete it when appropriate.
15. Third-Party Websites and Platforms
Our website and services may link to or integrate with independent third-party websites and platforms.
We are not responsible for the privacy or security practices of independent third parties. Review their privacy policies before providing information or enabling an integration.
16. International Visitors
Boost X Local is operated from the United States. Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate.
Those countries may have privacy laws different from those in your jurisdiction.
17. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our services, providers, or legal obligations change.
The "Last updated" date at the top identifies the latest revision. If a material change requires additional notice or consent, we will provide it as required by law.
